What you need to know

  • Customers must enter their Everyday Rewards Card during the quote to be eligible.

How do I enter?

There are two ways you can enter the Everyday Travel Insurance Points Giveaway promotion:

  1. For one entry, all you need to do is complete a quote for Everyday Travel Insurance during the promotional period (22 January - 20 February 2024) and link your Everyday Rewards card during the quote;

    and/or

  2. For an additional five entries into the draw, you can purchase an Everyday Travel Insurance policy during the promotional period (22 January - 20 February 2024) and link your Everyday Rewards Card. You must ensure the policy purchased remains active for a period not less than 21 days from the purchase date.

Can I enter more than once?

Yes. You can enter the competition once per day, during the promotional period (22 January - 20 February 2024).


Do I have to purchase a policy to enter?

You do not have to purchase an Everyday Travel Insurance policy to enter. If you complete a quote and link your Everyday Rewards card during the promotional period, you will still have a valid entry in the draw.


How long do I have to enter?

The promotion will run from 22 January 2024 until 20 February 2024.


What can I win?

To celebrate the launch of Everyday Travel Insurance, 120 members will win 500,000 Everyday Rewards points each.


Do I need to be an Everyday Rewards member to enter?

When does the draw take place?

The draw will take place at 12:00pm (AEDT) on 14 March 2024.


How will I know if I am a winner?

We will be contacting all winners within 5 business days of the draw taking place. We will also publish the list of winners on this website.


If I win, when will I get my Everyday Rewards points?

The points will be automatically loaded onto the winners’ Everyday Rewards card by no later than 25 April 2024, provided the winner will not exceed the Everyday Rewards account limit of 4,000 Everyday Rewards dollars. If a winner will exceed this limit as a result of winning a prize, the winner will be required to reduce the value of credit in their Everyday Rewards account before the prize can be loaded onto their Everyday Rewards Card.

The Promoter and nib, may disclose personal information to third parties, including but not limited to the Promoter’s and nib’s related bodies corporate, agencies and contractors (including call centres, advertising agencies, direct mail houses, prize suppliers and service providers for this purpose. Eligible entrants

Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years of age and over who are Everyday Rewards members (excluding Everyday Rewards Plus members) at the time of entry.

Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, its related entities and any agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, brother, sister, step-brother or step-sister.

How to enter To enter, each entrant must, during the Promotional Period, either:
  1. Obtain a quote for an Everyday Travel Insurance policy and link their Everyday Rewards Card at the time of Quote (Quote Entry);

    AND/OR

  2. Purchase a new Everyday Travel Insurance policy and link their Everyday Rewards Card at the time and ensure the policy purchased remains active for a period not less than 21 days from the purchase date (Purchase Entry);
Number of entries Entrants will receive one entry for each Quote Entry and five (5) entries for each Purchase Entry during the Promotional Period.
Limits on entry Multiple entries are permitted, however Entrants can only enter the Promotion once per day per Quote Entry and Purchase Entry, up to a maximum of 30 times for each type of entry throughout the Promotional Period. Each entrant is eligible to win a maximum of one (1) prize (excludes SA residents).
Promotional period The promotion commences at 00:01 AEDT on 22/01/2024 and closes at 23:59 AEDT on 20/02/2024 (“Promotional Period”).
Draw date

All one hundred and twenty (120) draws will be conducted at the end of the Promotional Period (“Prize Draw”).

The Prize Draw will take place on Thursday 14 March 2024 at 12.00pm AEDT at Unit 6, 3 Central Avenue, Thornleigh, NSW 2120. All Prize Draw winners will be published online on the Promotion Website everydayinsurance.com.au/pointsdraw within 7 business days of the draw taking place.

Prize details Each prize consists of 500,000 Everyday Rewards Points at a RRP value of $2,500. The total RRP value of all prizes = $300,000. All prize values are correct as at 31 August 2023 and are in Australian Dollars, but to the extent permitted by law, no responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for any variation in the value of the prize after that time.
Prize limitations

500,000 Everyday Rewards points: 

  1. The prize of five hundred thousand (500,000) Everyday Rewards points is not redeemable for cash, exchangeable or transferable. Everyday Rewards Terms and Conditions apply to this prize.
  2. The maximum permitted value of credit in an Everyday Rewards account at any time is 4,000 Everyday Rewards dollars. If an entrant will exceed this limit as a result of winning a prize, the entrant will be required to reduce the value of credit in their Everyday Rewards account before the prize can be loaded onto their Everyday Rewards Card.
Prize delivery

The 500,000 Everyday Rewards points will be automatically loaded onto each winner’s Everyday Rewards Card by no later than 25 April 2024, subject to clause b under ‘Prize Limitations’ above.

If the prize winner has opted to convert their Everyday Rewards points to Qantas Points, their points will be automatically converted to 1,000 Qantas Points for every 2,000 Everyday Rewards points as outlined in the Everyday Rewards Terms and Conditions.

Notification of winners

Winners agree to being notified either via phone call or SMS to the number linked to their Everyday Rewards account, or in writing by email via the email address linked to their Everyday Rewards Card within five (5) business days of the Draw Date.

Winners will be published online on the Promotion Website everydayinsurance.com.au/pointsdraw, for a minimum 28 days, from the applicable Draw Date specified above.

No second chance draw As the prizes will be automatically awarded, there will be no second chance draw.

  1. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. In particular, prizes may not, without the prior consent of the Promoter and any applicable third party supplier of the prize (“Supplier”), be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a prize is sold or used in breach of this condition, the Promoter or the Supplier may, acting reasonably, at their absolute discretion, withdraw the prize(s). Where a prize has been withdrawn in accordance with this clause, no refund, substitute or compensation will be offered and if the prize is a ticket, the winner and any person who has purchased or otherwise bears that ticket will be refused entry.
  2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches, theft or destruction, any cause beyond the Promoter’s control, or unauthorised access to or alteration of the promotion. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery authority) modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the promotion. Further, the Promoter at its sole discretion may recommence this promotion under the same conditions.
  3. All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the winners. If a winner does not claim their prize by the Second Chance Draw date, their entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter may conduct the Second Chance Draw, subject to relevant regulatory authority instructions.
  4. If an entrant’s contact details change at any time between the date which they enter the promotion and the Second Chance Draw date, that entrant must notify the Promoter of their correct contact details immediately.
  5. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information from entrants relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Upon receiving and reviewing the information to assess verification, the Promoter’s decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who provides false information, fails to provide information, is in breach of these conditions, provides entries that are offensive or otherwise inappropriate in the sole opinion of the Promoter, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage or who is otherwise involved in any way in manipulating, interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion, or who has engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion.
