Everyday Insurance Collection Notice.

Everyday Insurance is a part of the Woolworths Group. This notice should be read alongside the Woolworths Group Privacy Policy and the privacy policies of our relevant Insurance Partners (The Hollard Insurance Company Pty Ltd, PetSure, or nib).
Everyday Insurance from Woolworths (Everyday Insurance) is a registered business name of Woolworths Group Limited (ABN 88 000 014 675). When we refer to “we”, “us” or “our” in this notice, we mean Everyday Insurance. Everyday Insurance also covers Woolworths Insurance branded products or services.
This Collection Notice explains how and why we collect, use and disclose personal information when you interact with Everyday Insurance.
When does Everyday Insurance collect my personal information?
We collect personal information directly from you or from third parties (such as our Insurance Partners). Below are examples of when Everyday Insurance collects personal information, and the kinds of personal information we collect:

Why does Everyday Insurance collect my personal information?
We collect and use your personal information for various purposes, including to:
Manage our relationship: Provide quotes, issue and price policies, respond to your inquiries, and process claims.
Personalise your experience: Link your Everyday Rewards card (if you choose) to pre-populate account details and deliver personalised offers.
Calculate premium discounts: We use your Everyday Rewards transaction history (including products purchased, price paid, time and location of shops) to inform and assign a risk score. If you choose to link your Everyday Rewards card to an Everyday Car Insurance quote or policy, Everyday Rewards will share this risk score with the Insurance Partner who may give you a reduced premium based on this information. The score is never used to increase your premium.
Maintain security: Monitor for potential fraud, conduct investigations, and manage business risks.
Improve our business: Train our staff (including recording interactions), conduct market research, and develop new products
Other purposes as permitted or required by law.
Note: If we cannot collect this information, we may be unable to provide you with insurance products or properly assess your claims.
Who does Everyday Insurance share information with?
Woolworths Group & Loyalty Ecosystem
We share data within the Woolworths Group (such as Everyday Rewards) to unlock exclusive benefits and understand you better. For example, we share data (like your active policy status, Rewards card link, policy start date, or length of policy) securely back into the broader Woolworths Group to deliver personalised offers, such as targeted Everyday Rewards boosters.
Our Insurance Partners
We disclose your information to the specific partner that issues and manages your policy. Our Insurance Partners manage contact centres, provide administrative support and handle claims. We provide the Insurance Partners with data so they can perform these functions (e.g. information about offers you’ve redeemed, or whether you hold other Everyday Insurance policies). These partners may also collect data directly from you.

Allied Service Providers
We share details with Allied Service Providers to provide additional services. These Allied Service Providers may also collect data directly from you.
Digicall Assist Pty Ltd: Provides roadside assistance.
VetChat Services Pty Ltd: Provides online vet consultations for Pet Insurance customers.
The Weather Company Pty Limited (Weatherzone): Sends severe weather SMS alerts.
Other partners and service providers including insurance and distribution parties including insurers and reinsurers, brokers, agents and other intermediaries, advisors, authorised representatives, distributors, parties that arrange or administer your insurance administrator, marketing partners and financial institutions and credit providers assisting with valuations; parties assessing and processing claims (including other parties involved in claims), claims investigators, home assessors (for home insurance), medical and emergency repatriation providers (for travel insurance), external claims data verifiers and processors;
Other service providers that support our day-to-day operations across our business such as billing, providing insurance quotes to you, payments, debt collection, fraud detection, marketing, customer surveys, data storage and analysis.
Social media companies and third parties where we display advertising. For example:
We share certain information with digital platforms like Google, Meta & TikTok, that allows them to serve you more relevant ads when you’re browsing third party sites and social media.
Governmental bodies, regulators, law enforcement agencies and other persons where required or permitted by law.
