There are three ways to claim with GapOnly.®
You can request a pre-approval for your pets proposed treatment. This means before the treatment even takes place you can check whether it will be covered.
You can request a GapOnly® claim after treatment, before discharge. This means you give your vet permission to lodge your claim and have it processed by the time you're ready to pick up your pet.
On-the-spot claims. Your claim can be lodged and processed within 10 minutes when you're at the vet to pick up your pet. You simply pay the gap and go home with your furry friend.

GapOnly® is available at participating vets Monday to Saturday, 8:00am to 10:00pm (AEST/AEDT excluding NSW public holidays).
When GapOnly® isn’t available, your vet may be able to submit an electronic pet insurance claim instead.
The vet will lodge a GapOnly® claim on your behalf, which will be assessed in minutes. Any longer and the vet practice will let you know so you can decide whether you want to stay or have the claim processed as an electronic Pet Insurance claim instead.
On average, an in-clinic GapOnly® claim will be processed within minutes. If the claim is expected to take a little longer, the GapOnly® team will let the vet clinic staff know as soon as possible so you can decide whether you’d like to wait, or if available, submit an electronic pet insurance claim instead.
To help speed up this process, please let your vet know as early as possible that you’d like to make a GapOnly® claim, either when you first book the appointment, or when you first arrive at the clinic. This will help minimise any possible delays.
Great! First we suggest that you check that your vet and pet insurance provider are GapOnly® enabled by visiting If they are, simply let your vet know that you’d like to submit a GapOnly® claim the next time you have an appointment, or better still, at the time of booking your appointment.
It’s best to let your vet know that you intend to make a GapOnly® claim as early as possible so they can prepare your claim ahead of time to minimise any possible delays.

Where is the offer available?
Everyday Pet Insurance policyholders can collect 10× Everyday Rewards points on selected Mars Pet Nutrition pet food from the pet aisle at Woolworths Supermarkets and Woolworths Metro, online and in-store. This offer is not available on Everyday Market from Woolworths purchases, purchases via MILKRUN, or purchases made with a Woolworths Online business account.
Who is eligible?
This offer is for Everyday Pet Insurance policyholders who have successfully linked an active, registered Everyday Rewards or Everyday Rewards Plus Card to their active pet insurance policy. Please note that it may take up to 10 days after linking your Everyday Rewards Card to your Everyday Pet Insurance policy for this offer to become available.
You will not receive this offer if your Everyday Rewards or Everyday Rewards Plus account is cancelled, terminated, or suspended during the offer period. Additionally, you will not be eligible for this offer if your policy is cancelled, or if a change in your level of cover results in a new policy number during the offer period. To remain eligible for this offer, you must link your new Everyday Rewards Card or Everyday Rewards Plus card to your policy if your card number changes.
How does it works
To collect 10× Everyday Rewards points when purchasing eligible pet food products, you must:
Have successfully linked your active, registered Everyday Rewards Card or Everyday Rewards Plus Card to your active Everyday Pet Insurance policy;
Purchase a participating product at a Woolworths Supermarket, Woolworths Metro, or Woolworths Online. Please visit woolworths.com.au for stock availability, price, and delivery areas, which may vary by store; and
To enjoy:
In-store: Scan your active, registered Everyday Rewards Card or Everyday Rewards Plus Card before completing your transaction.
Online: Ensure your active, registered Everyday Rewards Card or Everyday Rewards Plus Card is linked to your online account when you complete the transaction.
Your Everyday Rewards points will be added to your account within ten (10) business days of completing a qualifying purchase. The 10X points equals 1 (one) standard Everyday Rewards point and 9 (nine) additional points per dollar spent on participating products. This offer can be enjoyed multiple times during the promotional period. However, this offer is not valid for commercial transactions or quantities exceeding reasonable personal and household consumption.
What is included?
This offer is valid on participating Mars Pet Nutrition products from the following brands: MyDog, Optimum, Pedigree, Greenies, Schmackos, Whiskas, Dine, and Temptations. For a list of all participating products, see here.
What is excluded?
