What is Routine Care
Routine Care is an optional non-insurance benefit available to you as part of your Everyday Comprehensive & Comprehensive Plus Pet cover. It offers $100 towards a specified list of routine and preventative health care for your pet and is easily claimed in MyPet Portal via My Insurance Portal.
What does Routine Care cover?
With Routine Care cover you can claim your $50 Annual Benefit on one of the following treatments
Vaccinations
Includes the standard canine and feline vaccinations to help protect your pet against certain diseases
Health Checks
Check-ups related to checking the general health of your pet, and not related to a known Illness or Specified Accidental Injury
Plus $50 towards one of the following treatments
- Desexing
- Heartworm preventative
- Dew claw removal
- Prescription diets
- Microchipping
- Teeth cleaning
- Cremation or burial
- Council registration fees
- Dental illness treatment
- Alternative therapy
- Behavioural therapy†
- Obedience training

What to expect when you make a Routine Care claim
The easiest way to claim is online. Simply upload a copy of the itemised invoice and the consultation notes from your vet visit, if applicable, through MyPet Portal via My Insurance Portal
Once your claim is submitted, a claims specialist will assess your claim and make a decision on the outcome
If your claim is approved we will then reimburse you up to the applicable Routine Care limit
