Woolworths isn’t just Australia’s most popular supermarket. Its Everyday Car and Home Insurance product was just voted by over 11,000 Australians as a highly commended brand in the 2023 Finder Customer Satisfaction awards.

Everyday Insurance by Woolworths offers CarHome, Landlords and Pet Insurance. Everyday Insurance has been recognized as a highly commended brand for its Car and Home products, across 6 categories.

How Finder determined the winners

To determine the Customer Satisfaction Award winners for car insurance, Finder asked 5,787 Australians holding an Everyday Car Insurance policy how they felt about the provider. Customers in all major states were surveyed.

The same process was conducted for Home Insurance. Finder surveyed 6,116 people across NSW, VIC, QLD, WA and SA.

To be eligible, there had to be a minimum of 35 responses for each car and home insurer. 


What makes Everyday Insurance an award winner?

Every customer was asked to rate their car and home insurer out of 5 for the following:

Value for money

Ease of application

Overall experience

Respondents were also asked whether they would recommend the brand to a friend and the final score was calculated as an average of all the metrics outlined above.

We found 92% of Everyday Insurance customers said they would recommend Everyday Car Insurance to a friend. Nationally, Everyday Car Insurance scored 4.36/5, which earned it a highly commended award.

One of Everyday Insurance’s major perks is its discount. You get 10% off your grocery shop in-store, once a month° , with its insurance products.

For features and benefits, Home Insurance scored 4.18/5 and 4.24/5 for Car Insurance respectively in the national category.
