      If you need to make a claim on your Comprehensive or Third Party Fire & Theft car insurance and your car is out of action, our hire car cover can help cover the costs of a rental car. We can:

      • Organise a hire car for you: We'll take care of finding you a similar vehicle while yours is being repaired or replaced.

        • Reimburse your hire car costs:  If you prefer to arrange your own rental, we can reimburse you for the costs (up to the agreed limit). Just remember to keep all your receipts!

      What are the limits?

      • Daily hire rate: We cover up to $50 per day for your rental.

        • Maximum hire period: The maximum number of days we cover hire car costs is specified in your Certificate of Insurance.

      How much does hire car cover cost?

      You can choose to add optional extras such as hire car cover to your policy for an additional cost.The cost of hire car cover is calculated along with your base car insurance premium. The price will vary depending on a few factors, including your chosen level of cover, your car's make and model, and your location.
